The Anuvu Constellation is a revolution for our customers, offering an innovative approach to geostationary capacity that addresses the pain points of traditional GEO satellites. Our first two MicroGEO satellites will be launching in 3Q 2023 and will provide more targeted capacity, and a shorter, more flexible lifecycle on orbit.
But what should we call them?
We’re giving you the unique opportunity to name our satellites, which is not something you get to do every day, but also important because it:
- Provides a good branding opportunity
- Allows us to tell a story
- Adds a personal stamp to the product and aids with callability for journalists, clients, consumers and employees
Submit Your Satellite Names
Anuvu is built to innovate—and that’s where your creativity comes in. We need your suggestions for what to call these first two MicroGEO satellites, with names that fit Anuvu’s efforts to be advanced, agile, and applied. We are always looking to the future, and these satellites are a key innovation in our connectivity efforts.
As you’re thinking of two names for these satellites, keep the following guidelines in mind as you get to brainstorming:
- Reflect our brand promise: Dreaming and Delivering Innovation That Moves You
- Represent values: Advanced, Agile, Applied
- Incorporate innovation, future, advanced, enhanced
- Tie in our unique selling points: mobility focused, only provider with content and connectivity, integrator, end-to-end supplier, hybrid network
- Think about them in a series since we could launch six more
- Consider names that already exist and avoid those—you can find them here
With our hybrid network of LEO and GEO/MicroGEO connectivity fused to deliver fast, reliable performance on every Anuvu-powered flight and cruise, the passenger experience will be stunning. So let’s find some quality monikers for our MicroGEOs.
A few “rules”:
- You may make only one submission, but you can submit up to four satellite names, by MAY 20, at the submission link below.
- The final satellite names will be curated and selected by a small group and may be sourced outside of this internal initiative
- We may not use your satellite name suggestions for launch, but could use for subsequent satellites
- Names will become the trademark/property of Anuvu (you may be asked to sign an assignment form)
Thank you for your ideas—and let the names flow forth.
