Favorite movie: Rocky IV is my favorite movie… as an ex-athlete, I love a good training montage! Rocky’s out there lifting logs in the snow while Drago’s in a high-tech Soviet lab… peak underdog energy!
What moves you?
Professionally: I try to keep my competitive nature in check at work, but as an ex-professional athlete, “winning” still drives me. The finish line looks different now, but whether it’s securing new cruise line partnerships, negotiating contracts, or ensuring seamless installations… there’s always a competitive edge to what I do
Personally: In my personal life, my biggest source of motivation is my 3-year-old son—who may or may not be on a training program, depending on whether child services are listening. He’s sampling every sport until we find the one where I can transition to being his full-time manager. No pressure, of course… but Welsh Rugby are in dire need of a new number 10!
Work life
What do you do at Anuvu? Ultimately, I’m responsible for Anuvu’s relationships with our 60+ cruise lines while bringing new ones on board. My role covers a broad remit, but you’ll most often find me in contract discussions, installation projects, and—everyone’s favorite—‘collections’!
How does your job solve problems for our internal or external customers? Delivering live TV at sea is incredibly complex. In many respects I act as a conduit between our technical teams and their wizardry, and our Cruise line customers. They may not understand the magic behind it (often I don’t either), but they know one thing for sure… no TV onboard means a potential mutiny
